Analysis of Formation Contexts of Suicide Attempt in Female Adolescents: A Phenomenological Study

Abstract
Background: The aim of the current research was the analysis of formation contexts of suicide attempt in female adolescents.
Method: The present research method was a qualitative and has been done using phenomenology aproach. The population of this study includes all female adolescents attempting suicide in Kohgiloyeh and Bouer Ahmad during the 2024-2025. The sampling framework was purposeful and the sampling continued until saturation was reached with 14 samples. The research tool was semi-structured and in-depth interviews. In order to analyze the data, coding was performed using the Claizian method and MAXQDA.20 software.
Results: Data dnalysis obtained from the interviews led to the identification of 66 primary concepts, 11 sub-themes, and 3 main themes. The content of vulnerable individual condition included: feelings of anger, annoyance and unrest, strees, anxiety and depression, feeling of meaninglessness in life, dissatisfaction, feeling loneliness and social rejection, the formation of pessimism and helplessness. Social cultural traumatic contexts included: Family, school, peers and virtual space. Past unpleasant experiences included: experience of failure, formation of unconventional relationships, force, deprivation and previous abuses experienced.
Conclusion: Adolescents female consider of suicide attempt as a way of escaping or getting unseen rights. It is essential to take the lived experiences of these individuals seriously, with a comprehensive focus on all dimensions. Overall, the results of this research can provide the necessary content to design preventive programs.
